Make something new! Try this Morning Frost recipe featuring Seedlip’s versatile Spice 94 combine with a dash of an ingredient we don’t see that often: date nectar.
Date nectar is a sweet syrup made from dates- big surprise there! It is a natural alternative to processed sugar and is often used in baking, cooking, and as a sweetener for drinks. Date nectar is known for its rich, caramel-like flavour and is a great substitute for sugar in recipes. It is also considered to be healthier than traditional sugar, as it contains a variety of essential vitamins and minerals, such as potassium, magnesium, and iron. Additionally, date nectar is a good source of dietary fibre and has a lower glycaemic index than other sweeteners, which means it should be absorbed more slowly into the bloodstream and may not cause spikes in blood sugar levels. Check the bottle too sure though to be sure what ingredients are listed, or better yet, make your own!
