Margarita | The Mocktail Mix

The Margarita is a classic cocktail that originated in Mexico and has been enjoyed for many decades. It is traditionally made with tequila, triple sec and lime juice, and is served in a salt-rimmed glass. The exact origin of the Margarita is uncertain, but there are several stories and legends about how it came to be. Some say it was created by American socialites visiting Mexico in the 1930s, while others believe it was invented by a bartender in Tijuana in the late 1940s. Regardless of its origin, the Margarita has become one of the most popular cocktails in the world.

For out Mocktail Mixer’s who prefer a non-alcoholic margs, there are several options available. A popular option is the Virgin Margarita, which is made with all the same ingredients as a traditional Margarita, but without the alcohol. Other non-alcoholic versions include the Alcohol-Free Margarita, which uses a non-alcoholic substitute for tequila, and the Faux-garita, which uses ingredients like lemon-lime soda, lemon juice and sugar to mimic the flavour of a Margarita.
