The Mai Tai is a tropical cocktail with a rich history that dates back to the 1940s. This popular drink was created by Victor J. Bergeron, also known as Trader Vic, who was a renowned American restaurateur and tiki bar pioneer. The Mai Tai was originally crafted as a rum-based cocktail and gained fame for its exotic flavors and refreshing taste. However, for those seeking a non-alcoholic alternative, the non-alcohol version of the Mai Tai typically consists of a blend of fruit juices such as pineapple, orange, and lime, mixed with a touch of grenadine and topped with a garnish of fresh fruit. This alcohol-free rendition from Lyre’s, captures the essence of the original Mai Tai, offering a delightful and tropical beverage for those who prefer to abstain from alcohol.
