Recipe courtesy of Banks Botanicals

Introducing the Banks Sour, a masterfully crafted libation that showcases the distinctive character of Banks, Australia’s premier non-alcoholic spirit. Begin with a generous pour of 60ml of Banks, setting the stage for a drink that marries sophistication with flavour. Add 25ml of freshly squeezed lemon juice, the bright acidity of half a lemon, to bring a refreshing zing to this concoction.

To balance and enrich the taste, incorporate 5ml of almond syrup, also known as Orgeat, infusing a subtle nutty sweetness. Elevating the Banks Sour’s texture and creating a velvety finish, introduce the richness of egg white into the mix. Serve this exquisite blend in a Sour/Rocks Glass, appreciating the artistry that goes beyond taste, encapsulating the essence of a well-crafted cocktail.

As a finishing touch, garnish your Banks Sour with a sprinkling of grated lime and thyme, enhancing the visual appeal and adding aromatic complexity to each sip. The Banks Sour is not just a drink; it’s an experience, inviting you to savour the layers of flavour and craftsmanship that define the art of mixology.

Notes from The Mocktail Mix team: Aqua faba can be used as a substitute for egg whites in a some of Mocktails.
