Where the rugged charm of the Highlands meets the cosmopolitan elegance of Manhattan, the Rob Roy cocktail was born. Crafted in 1894 by a skilled bartender at the iconic Waldorf Astoria in the heart of New York City, this libation was originally designed to delight the tastes of the Mad Men and society’s most refined women. Today, it’s a drink that has shed its madness and stands as a testament to the discerning palate of every whisky connoisseur. When paired with the luscious sweetness of Lyre’s Aperitif Rosso, it transforms into a sophisticated marvel, exuding a sense of refinement that is both fancy and absolutely fantastic.

In this captivating blend, the Lyre’s Highland Malt brings the essence of the Scottish Highlands, a region renowned for its whisky craftsmanship. Paired harmoniously with Lyre’s Aperitif Rosso, which imparts the rich allure of sweet blood orange, this cocktail invites you to embark on a journey of taste and sophistication. With a dash of aromatic bitters to add depth and complexity, the Rob Roy stands as a symbol of timeless elegance, ready to grace your glass and elevate your senses.
